The MSIF Annual Report is the fund’s most comprehensive written deliverable, capturing a full-year record of portfolio decisions, investment strategies, team contributions, and organizational development. Produced by the copy-editing team with input from all investment groups, the report documents performance metrics, strategy outcomes, team bios, and cohort reflections. It serves not only as an accountability tool and archival record, but also as a professional showcase of student-led research, analysis, and communication. The Annual Report is published each spring and is designed to help future cohorts build on the progress of the current team.
End-of-Year Presentation
The MSIF End‑of‑Year Presentation is the academic year’s capstone, bringing together each team’s research, investment decisions, and portfolio results in a live session before faculty, alumni, and peers. Presentations cover strategy development, return attribution, benchmarking, and key lessons learned. This year’s event featured fundamental, systematic, and macro pitches. The standout was the C’mon C’mon Commodities – Macro Strategy, managed by the Market Mavericks, which delivered the highest return contribution, closing in early April. The team’s thesis proved especially timely, successfully anticipating tariff-related market shifts under the incoming administration—demonstrating disciplined execution and strong macro awareness.
