Application Process

Application Window – Projects are held during the Fall and Spring Semesters. Applications will open in late July/early August for the Fall Semester, and Late November/Early December for the spring Semester. Applications will stay open for a few weeks, with early applications being heavily encouraged. Applications will be offered through Handshake.

Interview – Our interview process is designed to be simple. One of the IAIM Student Directors will contact the most qualified and exceptional candidates to a 30 minute interview where IAIM will learn more about your background to determine your fit with our partner firms for the upcoming semester.

Offers – Selected students will be informed of their selection and assignment, and an initial meeting between students and firm leaders will be scheduled to kick off the project.

Logistics

Teams: 3-4 students work together and are expected to dedicate 3-6 hours per week to the project.
Duration: Projects are a semester in length (12-15 weeks) with the option to apply for multiple semesters, though preferences will be given to those who have yet to participate.
Compensation: Students are not paid, but gain immense value through the experience, connections, and mentorship that they’ll receive through their participation.

Utah SITFO

Students are surveying the various offerings, benefits, and potential pitfalls of evergreen funds, with a focus on how evergreen funds can be used by institutional investors.

Storm Capital

The cryptocurrency market provides unique and different challenges compared to traditional equities. Students are working to research and predict what opportunities will arise within the next five years that Cryptocurrency investors may be able to benefit from.
