It’s Fall Y’all! Fun Fall Activities in Utah

With the weather cooling off and the leaves changing colors, fall is in the air. Even if you see fall as just another season standing between you and skiing, here are five ways to make the most of it!

Apple Picking

What screams fall more than picking some apples and having some cider? November is the perfect time to go on an apple hunt at one of the many apple orchards around Utah. Located just 30 minutes from the U, Green Acres is a great place to pick apples for the day. You can fill an 8-quart-sized bucket with apples of your choosing for only $2. To find other orchards in your area, you can visit the pick your own website.

Alpine Loop

Consider driving the Alpine Loop. Here, you can find scenic views of Mount Timpanogos and look upon the aspen trees that are growing in the Sundance Mountain Resort. The start of the Alpine Loop is just 1 hour away from campus. After you finish your drive, grab peach cobbler at Burgess Orchards.

Candle Making

Are you looking for an interesting indoor activity? Try candle making. Just 30 minutes away, you can craft your candle with the fragrances of your choosing at The Wick Lab. The prices here range from $19.97-$32.50, depending on your chosen materials. Reservations are required to participate in the candle pouring.
