Ella Engelberg

Student Director

Ella Engelberg is a Quantitative Analysis of Markets and Organizations student at the University of Utah’s David Eccles School of Business, with a minor in Entrepreneurship completed through a study abroad program in Nice, France. She currently serves as a Student Director at the Institute of Advanced Investment Management (IAIM) while also working as a Research Assistant & Data Analyst at Think Alpha LLC, where she cleans, transforms, and visualizes data in Python and Excel to support investment models, and leverages LLM tools like ChatGPT to automate analysis and improve research efficiency. Outside of academics and work, Ella is passionate about public speaking, stand-up comedy, American Sign Language and animal welfare.
